our journey

For decades we have been turning ideas into real spaces, on a path built on knowledge, passion and constant evolution.
Experience allows us to approach every project with vision and awareness, reading each brief and setting on its own terms.
We have learned that every space has a soul of its own, and that a designer’s task is to read it and bring it out.
Over the years, attention to detail, the search for materials and an ongoing dialogue with artisans and clients have become part of our method.
Each new challenge draws on past experience and becomes a chance to grow and innovate.
The result is mature design that brings together technique, aesthetics and sensitivity.
Knowledge built over time, still evolving project after project.

  • 1995

    A world of experience

Years spent producing rugs and importing furniture from India, China and South-East Asia shaped a deep understanding of beauty and materials.
A journey of travel, encounters and discoveries sharpened the ability to read cultures, materials and people.
From this sensitivity comes a way of designing that combines empathy, balance and expertise, where aesthetics and function live in perfect harmony.

  • 2000

    Restaurant expertise

Designing a wide range of restaurants built a deep understanding of how the hospitality business works.
Working directly on venues we own, such as Scibui, brought creative vision and day-to-day management together, refining our ability to combine function, identity and atmosphere in every project.

  • 2005

    Broadening the scope

Over the years our work expanded beyond restaurants to offices for lawyers, accountants and consultants.
This meant exploring new functional and aesthetic needs, in spaces where order, image and comfort are essential.
The result was an even more analytical and sensitive approach, able to translate a professional’s personality into a coherent, elegant and functional setting.

  • 2010

    New horizons

Our experience grew further with the design of a beverage distribution hub in Milan for Vinicola Mauri.
The project marked a shift in how we think about space, balancing operational efficiency with commercial image.
The brief went beyond layout to include dedicated areas for training, conferences and tastings, designed to tell the story of the product and its culture.
It sharpened our ability to design multifunctional places where architecture, sensory experience and corporate identity merge into a single language.
Another step in the pursuit of coherence, beauty and meaning, the values behind every project we put our name to.

    Ambitious projects, an integrated vision

Our design work reached a new scale with Olio – Ristorante di Pesce, an ambitious project where creativity and management meet.
Here, managing significant funding went hand in hand with shaping a complex idea into a place with real identity and value.
Olio is more than a restaurant: it is a system of connected spaces, where dining room, kitchen, tasting area and spaces for hosting guests work together in harmony.
The whole setting, outside and in, is designed as a coherent, immersive experience in which light, materials and furnishings share one vision.
The project marked a point of maturity for the studio, proving its ability to manage complex processes by combining financial expertise, aesthetic sensitivity and creative direction.
A design model that distils everything learned over time: analysis, function, emotion and control.

Retail design – Libero Milano, Arese

The Libero Milano project in Arese was an important milestone for us: inside the Il Centro shopping centre we designed a fashion store that brings together aesthetics, function and brand identity.
Our work covered the layout, the choice of materials and finishes, and lighting that shows off the garments and creates a smooth, engaging shopping experience.
We paid particular attention to the brand’s visual coherence (elegant yet accessible, classic yet current), translating these values into clear, recognisable spatial elements.
Through analysis of customer flow, entrance design, modular furniture and careful finishes, the space supports both sales and the brand’s story.
The project strengthened our position in retail and confirmed that design is not only about furniture, but about building a spatial identity that is coherent, contemporary and functional.

BEAUTY MAY NOT SAVE THE WORLD, BUT IT CERTAINLY MAKES IT BETTER

WORK IS DEDICATION

Work is often wrapped in a rather rhetorical, repetitive story. That does not take away its meaning or weaken the passion behind it, but it risks overlooking the unique perspective of those who make their work so much their own that it becomes part of who they are. “It is not just work: it becomes a craft”, an activity that reveals a person and their talents, bringing together technique, creativity and intuition.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

01

MODERN, TIMELESS DESIGN

Every project starts with an idea, an intuition that evolves through the interplay of creativity, technique and material.
Our approach unites design thinking with craftsmanship, turning the client’s vision into a tangible, recognisable space.

We believe in design that lasts, free from trends and grounded in the balance of function, beauty and authenticity.
Every element is carefully considered: proportions, light, textures and touch become part of a coherent, sensory story.

02

MATERIAL RESEARCH

Material research is at the heart of our method.
We observe, touch and test materials to understand their nature, their potential and the emotions they can convey.
We don’t simply choose surfaces: we select living materials that engage with the project and bring out its character.

03

QUALITY IN EVERY DETAIL

Alongside design, our team of artisans brings ideas to life with precision and passion.
Every piece of work is a deliberate gesture; every detail reflects the time and skill of the hands that made it.

04

SPACE AND HARMONY

In every space we look for harmony between modernity and memory, between innovation and traditional craftsmanship.
This balance is where our modern, timeless design comes from: a language that evolves but does not age, that moves people yet stays functional.

Every project tells a different story, yet always speaks the same language: coherence, care and lasting beauty.
